It says on the packaging,that when you're removing wax from hard to get areas,to spray the Bristles w/a Quick Detailer to help avoid scratches on the paint finish.I also spray the paint where I need to use the Brush.The Bristles are,IMOPO,alittle too firm,and would be safer on paints or clearcoats if made softer.The *Split Bristle Tips* do add to some gentleness to the brush. *Overall Construction* of the Brush is *Excellent*.Very Sturdy/Great Built-In Rubber Grips and the *Rubber Spoon* at the end works okay. I do not see how this Brush would not last.*ALWAYS* make sure that the Bristles are *Clean*!.Detail Brushes of any Brand need Care too.
