This bumper guard package includes both the Bumper Bully and Impact Absorber accessory together, at a discounted price. The Impact Absorber is a thick soft foam rubber 10mm thick that sticks to the backside of the Bumper Bully, and helps soften the impact.

So getting bumper protection was an absolute must when I bought my new black car. It was almost scary looking around and seeing car after car of scoffed and scratched bumpers. This thing works like a charm. The extra padding is well worth the money as it definitely provides an extra layer of padding and protection. In fact, for the most part, rear bumpers seem to get hit by a parallel parker's front bumper license plate, which tends to jut out a bit. The extra padding makes sure that even a more forceful bump won't leave a single ding or scratch. The bumper bully attaches very easily via velcro straps to the floor of my trunk and couldn't be easier to use.Now there are a couple of shortcoming. First, the bully only covers the majority of the rear bumper (I have a mid-size sedan) and importantly the edges of the bumper are not covered. But it also gives others an excuse to park extra close and bump your car on purpose because as explained to me once "it's OK you have a bumper thingy". It's not OK.Minus 1 star- It does not protect the corners of your bumper. Minus 1 star- The straps do not stick to the trunk mat. I have to put a crate with stuff inside to keep the BB from falling. Other then that, it's great for city drivers. But doesn't mean you should be driving the city with it hanging off your bumper. Stop being lazy (tacky too) and throw it in the trunk. |
